Daniel Racic and Sasha Vazquez

Daniel is dedicated to creating and facilitating high-quality learning experiences, particularly when he can partner with educators who support students who may have been traditionally underserved or oppressed. He began his teaching career with Teach for America, working with families and students in the South Bronx. After serving as a Data Specialist, Coach, and Director of Technology, he wanted to create a school environment where elementary students could connect their joys and passions with their own individual learning goals. Daniel worked with the NYC Department of Education to open Bronx Delta School as the founding principal. He brings his passions for support, learning, innovation, and equity to the New Teacher Center, where he is thrilled to serve as a Director working to build and expand the Direct-to-Educator project.
